Earlier this year, on the CES exhibition in United States, Samsung showed us a LED TV with the degree of only 6.5mm thin which is rated the world’s thinnest television. Then all the LED products rushed into the consumer electronics market, lots of manufacturers develop LED products fro a better sale. Besides most international brand gradually keep their focuses on this field. As a matter of fact, more and more electronic gadgets applied the LED or LCD technology to some extent such as MP3 Player, Mobile Phones Digital Camera, Notebook, and Projector, etc. well, the LED is on its way, is LDC on the contrary no more useful?

Compared with the LCD, LED have great advantages on brightness, consumption, and refresh rate, etc. it support a wide vision up to 160°angle and could display a variety of text, numbers and animation information, at the same time broadcast television, video, VCD, DVD and other color video signals. The LED technology widens the range of application for a thinner, brighter, clearer display. On the contrary, LCD is more frequently applied to outdoor large screen display for its lower resolution.
Talking about the cost, LCD is a little bit expensive in that the technology, materials and equipment applied were imported, and the liquid crystal display indeed smaller injury than the LED.
