Kitchens Without a Blender Are a Nightmare

Kitchen utensils, microwaves, toasters and blenders are some of the wonder devices that have eased the way of life especially in the kitchen. But each of them is different in their purposes and each one makes them useful somehow and someway around the kitchen. The blender though is much more than just a mixing machine.

Consider the uses of the blender for instance. It is one of the raw food lovers dream tools for making great milk shakes or the meal in a cup that TV channels crave you about.

A blender is simply a jug with rotating blades which gives it the ability to mash any food and can give you a drink with any ingredient you can think of. A little milk, a few bananas and strawberries blended with ice can get you the perfect drink smoothie if you desire. Just spill out the contents in a glass after blending and you can call me over for a healthy digestive drink with you. Plus, the best part of using a blender is that one does not need to waste any part of your ingredients at all, except for the banana peels of course.

Just the idea of having a strawberry smoothie, on a beach chair, with some friends who came over for swimming in your pool on a hot sunny day is simply just something which one cannot express in words.

Added to all this, blenders also work best when trying to get more super food items and other additives to your wonderful smoothies. Whipping in barley grass powder, protein powder, ginseng or any other desired food supplement is no problem at all. Getting a blender for the household is a smart choice that many people make to get amazing flavored drinks any time you want.

The tremendous power of these blenders along with the rotary blades at its bottom make it possible to blend almost anything you can think of. Though, it would be best to stick to the following food ingredients to get the best results and more great taste.

  • Soft pulpy fruits along with mangoes, strawberries, bananas, and other similar fruits.
  • Juices and lemonades if you like them stirred
  • Nuts, seeds and seed oil
  • Peeled kiwis, oranges, grape fruits, and other citrus fruits
  • Protein powder, ginseng, and barley grass etc.
  • Ice and some mint leaves are the garnishing that will really set these drinks aside as some of the greatest concoctions ever put together in a blender. It’s no wonder that people have a hard time thinking about life without the greatest kitchen tool ever.
